Thank you Donald Trump!

Mr Trump has done Indian IT a major support. I trust his emphasis on movement changes and arranged limitations on H-1B visas in the US is a help in mask for Indian IT as a result of four reasons.

Initially, change impacts everybody similarly, however some react to it by dawdling while others jump forward. I trust this is an incredible open door, in the same class as the retreat in 2008, for savvy and deft associations to build piece of the overall industry by being a piece of the "arrangement" instead of being at the focal point of the "issue". Champs this time around will be the individuals who grasp the change, contract locally and proactively report the quantity of nearby occupations they would make. Bulk whatsapp sms service provider

Besides, there is a colossal open door for Indian IT to make neighborhood pools of ability over the US as they have done in India. Consolidated with advances in manmade brainpower, I trust that after some time these US based neighborhood focuses can convey administrations at comparable expenses to the ones conveyed from India. It would be a race of who can arrive first.

UK targets WhatsApp encryption after London attack

The British government has said that its security services must have access to encrypted messaging applications such as WhatsApp, as it revealed that the service was used by the man behind the parliament attack.

Khalid Masood, the 52-year-old Briton who killed four people in a rampage in Westminster on Wednesday before being shot dead, reportedly used the Facebook-owned service moments before the assault.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd told Sky News it was “completely unacceptable” that police and security services had not been able to crack the heavily encrypted service.

“You can’t have a situation where you have terrorists talking to each other -- where this terrorist sent a WhatsApp message -- and it can’t be accessed,” she said.View more:-Bulk Sms Service provider

Slaughterhouse crackdown in UP: Uttarakhand’s leopards too on a chicken diet

Poor Ruby is on a forced diet of poultry — kinda chicken feed for a grown-up girl who needs at least 6kg of protein-and fat-rich meat, either buffalo or goat, to keep her fit and agile.

The eight-year-old Ruby and six fellow leopards at Uttarakhand’s Chidiyapur animal rescue centre, on the outskirts of holy town Haridwar, are off their favourite diet after the crackdown on illegal slaughterhouses in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh.

And, a shoestring budget doesn’t allow the forest department to buy goat meat or mutton — more expensive than buffalo meat and poultry fowls, for the full-grown leopards in an age bracket of seven and nine years.

Even if officials dig deep into their pockets, it’s impossible to buy mutton locally in Haridwar, a strictly vegetarian town bereft of slaughterhouses or butcher shops because of its holy status.View more:-Bulk Sms Service provider

Job loss fear looms over UP’s biggest slaughterhouse where Hindus outnumber Muslims

Vishwanathan Pillai has never before felt so insecure about his job at an abattoir. His anxiety comes in the wake of on-going action that has been described by the Yogi Adityanath-led government in Uttar Pradesh as a crackdown on illegal slaughterhouses.

Pillai, 40, who works as production head at Frigerio Conserva Allana Limited -- one of the country’s biggest, and legal, slaughterhouse-cum-meat processing units – said the factory has seen 50% reduction in buffalo stock due to the crackdown and fears the “worst is yet to come”.

“The traders have stopped transporting animals from local mandis for us because they fear they would be attacked on the way. Big fish use loopholes to escape law, admits Bihar judge

District and sessions judge of Muzaffarpur brought forth the limitations of law in bringing to book the real kingpin who were into smuggling contraband, when he said it were only the small fries who got caught .

“The big sharks get away all the time due to loopholes in the law,” said district and sessions judge, Muzaffarpur, Harendra Nath Tiwari while addressing a gathering at a legal awareness programme on drug trafficking, organised by the district legal service authority on Saturday.

Police seldom catch any big fish of drug racket. Only small peddlers are caught. They never disclose name of their patrons. So, we fail to sentence kingpins.- HN Tiwari District & sessions judge, Muzaffarpur
“Security personnel and anti-drug enforcing authorities fail to arrest the kingpin of drug racket. Only small peddlers are caught. These peddlers never disclose the name of their patrons. So, we fail to sentence kingpins. These petty peddlers get short-term punishment and once they are out of prison, they resume their activities,” he said.

The district judge said the small-time peddlers were paid well and their families taken care of even during the period of their incarceration. “Kingpins of such rackets take care of financial needs of small-time peddlers and their families, when they are caught and put behind bars. So, these peddlers never disclose the name of the kingpin,” said Tiwari.

“The judiciary does its job honestly, but taking advantage of loopholes in the law, the kingpins get away.”

Tiwari urged commoners to come forward and help curb the social menace. “This social evil can only be eradicated when commoners play their role positively in identifying drug addicts and peddlers. Even investigating officials should do their job honestly in catching kingpins and not be consumed by their effort to nab the small fries,” he said.View more:-Bulk Sms Service provider

BJP To Introduce 'Gujarat Model' For Dairy Development In UP

LUCKNOW:  The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh is planning to implement an "improvised version" of 'Gujarat model' for dairy development in the state. Stating this, Cabinet Minister for Dairy Development Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary said that cooperatives will be strengthened and steps will taken "to put a blanket ban on all the merchanised slaughter houses."

He also alleged that schemes like Kaamdhenu Yojana initiated by Akhilesh Yadav government for dairy development were misused.

Pointing to the crackdown on illegal abattoirs by the new government, he claimed, "There has been a decrease in the count of milch cattle especially due to operations of the illegal slaughter houses and abattoirs. Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath has already started acting against the illegal abattoirs."

The government believes that dairy development would give a boost to the income of farmers, most of whom are solely dependent on agriculture for livelihood.

Speaking to PTI, Mr Chaudhary said, "Gujarat has been at the forefront of dairy development. It witnessed the White Revolution and Operation Flood.

"We would attempt to implement an improvised version of the Gujarat model of dairy development in UP. Our effort would be to directly link farmers' prosperity with dairy industry," Mr Chaudhary said.

Pentagon Enjoying Greater Freedom Under US President Donald Trump

The Pentagon under US President Donald Trump is enjoying greater freedom to run its wars the way it wants - and not constantly seek White House approval on important decisions. Many in the military appreciate this increased autonomy, but critics charge it is raising civilian death rates, puts the lives of US troops at greater risk and leads to a lack of oversight of America's conflicts.

Nowhere has the shift been more visible than in the fight against the ISIS group in northern Syria, where under Barack Obama even minor tweaks to US plans underwent exhaustive White House scrutiny.

Since Trump's inauguration, the Marine Corps has brought an artillery battery into Syria, and the Army has flowed in hundreds of Rangers, bringing the total number of US forces there to almost 1,000.

Commanders are weighing the possibility of deploying hundreds more, and the Pentagon this week announced it had provided artillery support and choppered local forces behind enemy lines in a bid to seize a strategic dam.

The greater leeway marks a departure for the National Security Council (NSC), which coordinates foreign and military policy and implements the president's national security agenda.

Under Obama, the NSC oversaw just about every aspect of America's wars in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan, with then Pentagon chief Ash Carter was kept on a short leash.

Trump, conversely, has repeatedly deferred to his defense secretary, Jim Mattis, on military moves.

Mattis, a retired general, has delegated expanded authorities to his battlefield commanders.

"Jim Mattis has been given the latitude to conduct military operations in the way he sees best," Pentagon spokesman Chris Sherwood said.

3rd Test: Tom Latham Shines In New Zealand Gloom Against South Africa

A rejuvenated Tom Latham ensured a positive start to New Zealand's reply after Quinton de Kock bolstered South Africa with a defiant 90 on another wet day in the third Test in Hamilton. When bad light ended play four overs early on Sunday, New Zealand were 67 without loss in reply to South Africa's 314. Latham, who managed 24 in total in three previous innings in the series, was unbeaten on 42 after coming out on the right side of two reviews, with Jeet Raval on 25. With New Zealand needing to win to square the series, it proved a successful day for Latham who had a standout performance in the field highlighted by an instinctive catch at short leg to remove Faf du Plessis.

But de Kock proved a much tougher obstacle on a frustrating day for the players when only 26 balls were possible between lunch and tea after rain also cost nearly three hours of play the previous day.

Just as his 91 in the first innings in Wellington set up South Africa up for an eight-wicket victory, de Kock again tormented New Zealand with his trouble-free approach.

Smart fielding

When he went to the middle with the fall of Temba Bavuma's wicket, South Africa were 148 for five and he held the innings together while the bottom half of the batting order added a further 166.

De Kock's 90 came off only 118 balls, highlighting why captain Faf du Plessis was determined to have him play despite the wicketkeeper-batsman suffering ligament damage to his right index finger.

He hit 11 fours and two huge sixes, one off New Zealand's best performed bowler Matt Henry and one off Jeetan Patel, as he dominated the off-spinner who had claimed his wicket cheaply in the drawn first Test.

High School Rape In US Fuels Trump-Era Debate On Immigration

WASHINGTON:  A rape at a Washington area high school has drawn intense scrutiny as part of the immigration debate launched under US President Donald Trump, since the two alleged attackers are Latinos who entered the United States illegally. The attack feeds perfectly into the Trump narrative that the United States has porous borders and does not give priority to native-born Americans, and that unauthorised immigrants mean more and more violent crime.

Jose Montano, 17, and Henry Sanchez Milian, 18, are accused of brutally raping a 14-year-old classmate in a bathroom during school hours. They have been arrested and are in custody as they wait to go before a judge.

The rape took place last week at a public high school in Rockville, Maryland, a Washington suburb in Montgomery County, which is strongly pro-Democratic.

Seventy-six per cent of the county's voters went with Hillary Clinton in the November election.

News reports say Sanchez Milian was born in Guatemala and in August 2016 crossed the Rio Grande separating Mexico from the United States, as do many Latinos seeking to escape poverty and find a better life in the United States. He was picked up by border control agents.

A few days later, he was let go to join his father, who was living in Maryland while the youth waited to appear before an immigration judge.

That hearing has not even been scheduled yet, because of a huge backlog in the courts: half a million cases involving unauthorised immigrants waiting to see if they can stay or will be deported.

An estimated 11 million people live in the country illegally.

Foreign Bank and Financial Account Report filing for Indian Americans: 10 things to keep in mind

As the US cracks down on foreign bank and financial accounts, it only means one thing for Indian Americans - more reporting! If you thought you were done with this year's reporting when you filed your tax returns in April, you probably forgot about the FBAR - Foreign Bank and Financial Account Report.

The FBAR is a report to be filed in addition to your tax return. For 2011, you must file the FBAR if you were a US resident or citizen and had, at any time in 2011, an aggregate balance of more than $10,000 in all your overseas bank and financial accounts. The due date for the 2011 FBAR is June 30th 2012.

We have already covered, in this earlier article , the basics of FBAR filing, such as eligibility, account limits etc.

In today's article, we look at 10 key points about the FBAR, including some important practical interpretations of the law.

FBAR is different from your tax return
The FBAR is filed in addition to your income tax return. The FBAR must be filed in Form TD F 90-22.1 even if you have already filed Form 8938, 'Statement of Specified Foreign Financial Assets' along with the tax return.

The historical roots of the FBAR are found in the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970 and the intention then was only to collect information on foreign bank accounts. Only recently the US Treasury handed over administration of the FBAR to the IRS which in turn started linking the FBAR to the tax return to check tax evasion.

While Form 8938 and the FBAR require more or less the similar kinds of details, there are some differences in thresholds and type of assets. You can get a complete comparison here .

Dharun Ravi could walk free from New Jersey jail next week

EW YORK: Former Rutgers University student Dharun Ravi, who was sentenced to a month in jail after being convicted of using his webcam to spy on his gay roommate, is set to be released from a New Jersey jail next week after completing 20 days of his 30-day term.

India-born Ravi, 20, received five days' credit for good behavior and an additional five for working while in jail, enabling him to shave off 10 days from his sentence, which he had begun in Middlesex County Jail on May 31.
He could be released next Tuesday. Ravi was convicted in March this year on 15 counts of bias intimidation and invasion of privacy charges for spying on the sexual encounter of his roommate Tyler Clementi with another man in September 2010.

Days later, Clementi had committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington bridge near here.
The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office planned to appeal the jail term imposed by of the New Brunswick Superior Court Judge Glenn Berman, saying the sentence was too lenient.
While Ravi had faced a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, the prosecutors had wanted a jail term of at least five years.

Ravi had agreed to begin serving his jail term early instead of waiting for an appeals court to first rule on the prosecution's demand for a longer jail term.

Explaining his lenient sentence, Berman had said he did not believe Ravi should be incarcerated in a state prison with murderers and rapists.

Before beginning his sentence, Ravi had for the first time late last month publicly apologised for his "immature and insensitive". Ravi said he regretted his "stupid and childish" choices when he set up a webcam to spy on Clementi but said he did not act out of hatred.

SISF forces to be deployed at Maoist-hit project site

RANCHI: The newly raised State Industrial Security Force (SISF) will be deployed at the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL)'s Amrapaali coal project area in Tandwa block of Chatra district after it came under attack by suspected CPI (Maoist) operatives late on Wednesday night.

DIG (Hazaribag range) Bheemsen Tuti, Chatra SP Anjani Jha and deputy commissioner Sandeep Singh on Thursday inspected the camp site of BGR, a sub-leased company responsible for coal extraction at the project.

A group of at least 20 members of the outfit began their attack on the company camp site at approximately 10pm and triggered an explosion at the company office. Three members of BGR's staff were hurt in the explosion and are presently undergoing treatment.

The explosion alarmed the Indian Reserve Batallion personnel deployed near the camp and they opened fire on the rebels. The rebels were attempting to burn the vehicles at the site when they came under attacked. The rebels were forced to leave the site after the gunfight.

Chatra SP Anjani Jha said, "The contractor for the site, Raghuram Reddy, was not available for questioning because of which it is not possible for us to determine the reason for the attack. A poster left at the site claims that the attack was conducted by CPI (Maoist) and that CCL must halt the Amrapaali project."

Let There Be a Murder Case, Ranted Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad While Assaulting AI Staffer

New Delhi: It wasn't just a slap with a sandal as Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad bragged, but apparently a full-fledged assault on the Air India staffer on Flight AI 852.

An 80-second video of the incident which has emerged on social media shows Gaikwad assaulting Air India staffer Shivkumar even as crew members are heard pleading with him to stop.

"Let it be, there are already many cases against me," he snaps back when a stewardess warns him that he would end up being charged with murder as the assault would kill the 60-year old staffer.

The first part of the video purportedly shows him trying to push the AI staffer down from the plane which was parked on tarmac even as a voice is heard screaming, " No, no sir. don't do that sir, don't do that."

After he was restrained a stewardess tries to appeal to his better sense: "You are our representative, sir, you have worked hard to reach this place. We have elected you. Why are you doing like this." Gaikwad obviously was in no mood to calm down.

The victim Sukumar has accused the MP of assaulting him and breaking his glasses and an FIR has been filed in the case. The MP himself has publicly bragged about hitting him with a sandal.

This is not the first time the Sena MP from Osmanabad had been accused of getting on the wrong side of law. My Neta, the portal which provides criminal and financial background information on candidates, lists nearly a dozen charges, from culpable homicide to rioting to criminal intimidation that have been filed against him.

While the Shiv Sena has distanced itself from the act and ruling ally BJP has condemned it, Opposition leaders have demanded that he should be removed from Parliament.

"Parliament should raise the issue. Beating up a person does not fall under parliamentary privileges," said Congress leader Manish Tewari.
